iCRYO Brings Cutting-Edge Wellness to Richmond Near Katy with New Health and Recovery Center

April 03 2025

The road to better health just got a little closer to home. iCRYO, a fast-growing national wellness brand with roots in Texas, has officially opened its 50th location in Richmond near Katy and Fulshear, offering local residents access to a full suite of science-backed health and recovery services designed to support mind, body, and longevity.

Located at 18806 W. Airport Blvd, Suite 150, iCRYO Richmond is more than just a wellness center—it’s a passion project for Dan Shurtleff and Arseli Loera, a local husband-and-wife team and medical professionals who are deeply invested in the health of their community.

“We’re so excited to bring iCRYO to this community and create a space where people can enhance their quality of life,” said Loera. “As medical professionals, we’ve seen firsthand that without quality of life, longevity means very little. With the energy we’re bringing to our location, our goal is to make this a place where both guests and team members genuinely love what they do and how they live.”

Inside the doors of iCRYO Richmond, guests will find a modern, inviting space offering everything from whole body cryotherapy and red light therapy to IV drip therapy, vitamin shots, infrared sauna sessions, body sculpting, and even a dry float bed designed to mimic the benefits of deep meditation. Each service is designed to support a different facet of well-being—whether it’s muscle recovery, stress relief, immune support, or simply feeling better from the inside out.

iCRYO’s mission is simple but powerful: to help people feel better, live longer, and perform at their best—no matter their age or lifestyle.

Kyle Jones, who co-founded iCRYO with his father, Bill Jones, knows the power of this work on a personal level. He opened the first iCRYO location in League City, TX in 2015 at just 24 years old, after managing the cryotherapy division at a physical therapy clinic. That firsthand experience sparked a vision to make affordable, professional health services available across the country.

“What a milestone this is, celebrating the opening of our 50th location in Richmond,” said Jones. “This is a testament to the hard work of our dedicated franchisees and the trust our guests place in our services. Our mission is to help people feel, perform and live better. Our vision is to become a global wellness brand.”

At the heart of iCRYO’s service model is whole-body cryotherapy, the treatment that started it all. Modern whole-body cryotherapy (WBC) involves exposing the entire body to extremely cold temperatures, typically below -100°C (-148°F), for brief periods, usually ranging from two to four minutes. This therapy is conducted in specialized chambers where individuals wear minimal protective clothing to maximize skin exposure while safeguarding extremities. The process aims to elicit physiological responses that may aid in reducing inflammation, alleviating pain, and enhancing recovery. Rooted in ancient practices yet advanced by modern technology, WBC has become widely embraced by athletes, wellness enthusiasts, and individuals seeking relief from chronic pain or stress-related symptoms.

Since its founding, iCRYO has expanded its offerings beyond cryotherapy to include hyperbaric oxygen therapy, ozone IV therapy, compression therapy, and aesthetic services—all designed to support holistic, proactive wellness. The Richmond location offers these services seven days a week with flexible hours to accommodate busy schedules.

As more people search for non-invasive, preventative health treatments and ways to recover from chronic pain, stress, fatigue, or injury, iCRYO aims to meet them where they are—offering accessible, personalized care in a friendly, community-focused setting.
