HTeaO Expands in Katy with a Second Location and Drive-Thru Service

November 19 2024

HTeaO, the popular tea and beverage brand, is set to open its second location in the Katy area. The new store, located at 21810 Kingsland Boulevard in Katy, is expected to begin construction in early December 2024, with a projected completion date of early May 2025. This new site will be housed in a free-standing building and will feature convenient drive-thru service, making it even easier for Katy residents to grab their favorite refreshing drinks on the go. HTeaO’s expansion follows the success of its first Katy location at 1935 Avenue D.

Unlike traditional tea shops, HTeaO specializes in 26 distinct iced tea flavors, all derived from infused tea leaves, with no syrups added—just sugar if sweetened. Known for offering an extensive selection of iced teas, hot coffees, and specialty drinks, the brand has quickly gained a loyal following. From sweet iced teas like Sweet Georgia Peach and Sweet Mango Fresco to unsweetened options such as Unsweet Green and Unsweet Mint, there is something for every taste. For those craving something a bit more indulgent, HTeaO offers beverages like Sweet Peach Cobbler and Sweet Watermelon.

In addition to its iced teas, the menu includes a variety of hot coffees, including classics like Americano and Mocha, as well as unique options like Dirty Chai Apple Crisp and Marfa Morning. Iced coffee enthusiasts can enjoy drinks like Iced Caramel Macchiato and Iced White Chocolate Mocha. HTeaO is also known for its fun and refreshing lemonade options, such as Pink Lemonade and Ryan Palmer, along with its exclusive secret menu drinks like Coconut Sunset and Watermelon Refresher, providing a variety of beverages that continue to excite both tea lovers and newcomers alike.

But what truly sets HTeaO apart is its commitment to using purified water, treated through a reverse osmosis system and enhanced with minerals to elevate the flavor and texture of the tea. This meticulous process ensures a smooth, refreshing taste that lingers on the palate. HTeaO even makes their ice with the same purified water, offering cubed or crushed ice to order for a consistent, high-quality experience.

The store also features a secret menu, with fun, unique flavor combinations like cotton candy and horchata, available through their app. HTeaO’s focus on providing a high-energy, customer-friendly environment, along with its innovative tea offerings, has made it a favorite for those looking for a fresh take on the traditional tea-drinking experience.

HTeaO began as a small family side business in Amarillo, Texas in 2009, serving iced tea to a growing community. Founders Justin, Gary, and Kim had no idea that their simple venture would evolve into a nationwide movement. After realizing they had struck gold—figuratively—Justin Howe took full control of the business in 2012, dedicating the next six years to refining the concept. In 2018, HTeaO was officially established as a franchise, bringing its unique spin on Southern-style iced tea to the masses. Since then, the brand has expanded rapidly, with over 125 locations across 14 states.

Justin Howe, the Co-Founder and CEO of HTeaO, has played a pivotal role in the company's rapid growth. With over a decade of dedication to perfecting the HTeaO experience, Justin's leadership has been instrumental in turning the brand into a lifestyle sensation. Under his direction, HTeaO has grown into a high-growth franchise, delivering a distinctive tea-drinking experience nationwide and offering opportunities for new franchisees to join the brand's success.

For those in Katy and surrounding areas, the second HTeaO location aims to offer another convenient spot to enjoy the brand’s wide variety of delicious beverages, whether you prefer sweet, unsweetened, hot, or iced drinks. Stay tuned for the grand opening of the new location in 2025.
