How to Join Scouts in Lytle: A Guide for Rosewood Atascosa Estates Families

January 27 2026

Families in Rosewood Atascosa Estates looking to engage their children in meaningful, character-building activities need look no further than the local scouting programs right in Lytle. Both Scouting America and Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas have active troops and packs in the area, providing youth with opportunities to grow through service, teamwork, and fun.

Boy Scouts of America: Troop 369 and Pack 369

Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts of America) has a long tradition of preparing youth for life by building leadership skills, encouraging community involvement, and promoting outdoor adventure. In Lytle, Troop 369 welcomes boys in 6th through 12th grades and meets every Monday at 7:00 p.m. at the Lytle United Methodist Church.

Troop 369 offers older boys a structured path to earn merit badges, learn survival skills, and participate in service projects and camping adventures.

Families with younger boys in 1st through 5th grades can join Cub Scout Pack 369, a program that introduces foundational scouting activities with a focus on fun, creativity, and family involvement.

Girl Scouts of Southwest Texas

Girls in kindergarten through 12th grade are invited to join the Girl Scouts, a nationwide organization focused on building courage, confidence, and character. Local Lytle-area troops offer a wide range of activities—from earning badges in science and the outdoors to leading service projects and attending camps.

There are multiple Girl Scout troops in Lytle and surrounding areas, and new troops are actively forming. Girls ages 5 to 17 are encouraged to join, and adult volunteers are also needed to help lead and support local groups.

Those interested in joining or volunteering should reach out to Cathy Noll at:
