Houston Restaurant Weeks 2025: Katy and Fulshear Restaurants Serve Up Community Impact with Every Plate
Houston Restaurant Weeks 2025 is officially on the horizon, and this year, some of Katy and Fulshear’s most sought-after restaurants are stepping up to serve more than just delicious meals.
Running from August 1 through September 1, Houston Restaurant Weeks (HRW) brings together more than 400 restaurants across the Greater Houston area to raise funds for the Houston Food Bank—the largest food bank in the U.S. by distribution volume. Through special prix fixe menus, diners enjoy multi-course meals while restaurants donate a portion of each sale to help feed neighbors in need.
Now celebrating 22 years, HRW was founded in 2003 by Houston food journalist and radio host Cleverley Stone, who launched the event to help restaurants thrive during their slowest month. Since then, HRW has raised over $22 million, equating to 66 million meals served by the Houston Food Bank. Today, her daughter Katie Stone leads The Cleverley Stone Foundation and the event that bears her mother’s legacy.
“Over 22 years it has become a juggernaut of a fundraiser and a great opportunity for Houstonians to explore our vibrant food scene,” said Katie Stone, president of the foundation. “The purpose of Houston Restaurant Weeks since its inception has been to support the restaurant community.”
