Each facility is monitored by video surveillance to ensure the safety and security of guests. From daytime events to evening affairs, the venue caters to a wide range of needs while maintaining clear guidelines that prioritize safety, respect for neighbors, and responsible use.
Room Options and Rental Fees
Event rooms at the Mason Creek Community Center include the cozy Houghton Meeting Room (35-person capacity), the slightly larger West Room (50-person capacity), and the spacious Main Ballroom, which can host up to 242 guests.
Rates for Nottingham Country (MCUD) Residents
- Houghton/West Rooms: $200 for daytime or evening use, $400 for full-day use
- Main Ballroom: $700 for up to 4 hours, $1,200 for full-day use (15 hours max)
- Deposit: $500 for meeting rooms; $1,000 for Main Ballroom
A 10% discount is available for groups who reserve the room 12+ times per year, and qualifying nonprofit events receive a 50% discount if organized by a resident.

Pool and Tennis Rentals
If you're looking to host a pool party or tennis tournament, the Center has you covered. Private pool rentals start at $100 for the first two hours, with a $50 per-hour charge thereafter. Lifeguards may be required for pool use, and alcohol is only allowed under strict conditions—including a signed permit and the presence of two Constable deputies.
For tennis enthusiasts, a $25 key deposit gives MCUD residents access to courts on a first-come, first-served basis. League reservations and guest access are available with specific requirements.
How to Book and What to Expect
To book a space, residents age 25 and older can complete a permit request through the MCUD office. Reservations are granted on a first-come, first-served basis, and all use must be officially approved before any event takes place. Fees and deposits are typically paid via certified or cashier’s check, with regular checks accepted from residents only.
Keys for entry are provided 30 minutes prior to rental time and must be returned within 24 hours. Renters are expected to stay within their designated area and follow guidelines related to guest counts, curfews (generally 10:30 p.m. or midnight for the Ballroom), signage, alcohol, and music.
Event organizers should note that alcohol service requires a special permit and Constable presence. Additionally, no firearms, smoke machines, or indoor rice throwing is allowed—and pet access is restricted to service animals unless pre-approved.
