As Tomball and the surrounding Northwest Houston area continue to grow, access to local financial services is becoming increasingly important for residents, small businesses, and entrepreneurs alike. The opening of a new full-service banking center along Tomball Parkway signals not just another business opening—but a broader investment in the area’s economic future.

Home Bank officially opened its newest location at 27702 Tomball Parkway on March 16, 2026, adding to its expanding footprint across the Greater Houston region. For many in the community, the addition means closer access to everyday banking, business lending, and financial guidance without needing to travel further into Houston.

Supporting Growth in Tomball and Northwest Houston

Tomball has steadily become one of the most closely watched growth areas in the Houston metro, attracting new residents, homebuilders, and commercial development. With that growth comes a need for infrastructure that supports both families and local businesses.

The new Home Bank banking center reflects that demand. Positioned as the bank’s sixth location in the Greater Houston area—joining River Oaks, Sugar Land, Friendswood, Webster, and Pasadena—the Tomball branch is designed to serve as both a neighborhood bank and a commercial hub.

“This new banking center represents our long-term commitment to the Greater Houston market,” said John W. Bordelon, President and CEO of Home Bank. “We believe in building strong, lasting relationships by investing in our people, our facilities, and the communities we serve. The opening in Tomball is another important step in fulfilling that commitment.”

That commitment is particularly relevant in areas like Tomball, where small businesses and locally owned operations continue to play a key role in shaping the community’s identity.

A Local Hub for Business and Personal Banking

Beyond its retail services, the Tomball location will serve as a central base for Home Bank’s North Houston commercial banking team, which joined the organization in 2023 under the leadership of North Houston Market President Christy Daniel.

This dual focus—serving both individuals and businesses—positions the branch as more than a traditional bank location. For local entrepreneurs, it creates opportunities for relationship-based banking, access to capital, and guidance from a team embedded in the region.

Jeff Dudderar, Home Bank’s Houston President, emphasized the importance of proximity in a growing market.

“Northwest Houston continues to experience tremendous growth, and we are excited to expand our services to meet the needs of this vibrant community,” Dudderar said. “The Tomball banking center allows us to be closer to our customers, better support local businesses, and continue delivering the personalized service Home Bank is known for.”

Blending Modern Banking With Community Presence

The Tomball banking center comes after a six-month renovation of an existing building, transforming it into a modern, customer-focused environment. While the design reflects updated banking expectations, the underlying approach remains rooted in relationship-driven service.

Founded in 1908 and headquartered in Lafayette, Louisiana, Home Bank has spent more than a century building its reputation around personal banking and community engagement. As the bank has expanded into Texas and the Houston metro area, that same philosophy has carried forward—balancing growth with a focus on local connection.

For residents in Tomball, this can translate into more accessible financial services, whether it’s opening a checking account, securing a home loan, or navigating the early stages of a new business.

What This Means for the Community

For homeowners, the addition of a nearby banking center can offer convenience and local expertise—especially in a housing market that continues to evolve across Northwest Harris County.

For small business owners, it provides another avenue for commercial lending, financial planning, and relationship banking close to home.

And for the broader community, it reflects a continued pattern: as Tomball grows, so does the infrastructure needed to support it—schools, retail, healthcare, and now expanded financial services.

With the Tomball location now open, Home Bank’s presence in the Houston area continues to expand strategically, focusing on high-growth corridors where demand for both personal and business banking is increasing.
