Holiday Trash Collection Changes for Oak Park Trails: What You Need to Know

Holiday Trash Collection Changes for Oak Park Trails: What You Need to Know

October 29 2025

With the holiday season fast approaching, residents of Oak Park Trails should take note of a few temporary changes to trash collection services. Texas Pride Disposal, which serves Oak Park Trails through the Highland Knolls HOA, has announced its holiday schedule for the end of the year. Here’s what neighbors need to know to avoid any surprises.

Holiday Trash Pickup Schedule

Texas Pride Disposal will not be collecting trash on the following holidays:

  • Thanksgiving Day – Thursday, November 27

  • Christmas Day – Thursday, December 25

  • New Year’s Day – Thursday, January 1

Regular trash service will resume the following Monday after each holiday. That means if your usual pickup falls on one of these dates, your next collection will take place the next week.

Important Note: These changes apply only to trash collection. Recycling services will continue as scheduled, so you can still put out your recyclables on your regular collection day, even if it lands on a holiday.
