Hill Country Galleria Wine & Food Festival Returns to Bee Cave With Mediterranean Wines, Local Flavor, and Community Impact
A relaxed afternoon of wine tasting, local cuisine, live music, and community gathering is returning to Bee Cave this spring as Hill Country Galleria hosts its second annual Wine & Food Festival on Saturday, May 30.
Set in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, the growing event is designed to bring residents and visitors together for what organizers describe as a “sun-drenched afternoon of great wine, delicious food, live music, and good company” while also supporting meaningful philanthropic initiatives across Central Texas.
For Bee Cave and Lake Travis area residents, the festival reflects more than a weekend outing. It highlights the region’s continued growth as a destination for food, hospitality, entertainment, and community-centered experiences that celebrate the character of the Texas Hill Country lifestyle.
Hosted in partnership with the Austin Wine & Food Foundation, the event will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. at Hill Country Galleria, located at 12700 Hill Country Blvd. in Bee Cave.
“We’re excited to bring the Wine & Food Festival back to Hill Country Galleria,” said Alora Hess, marketing manager at Hill Country Galleria. “It’s a great way for guests to connect with local restaurants, enjoy curated wines, and support an organization doing meaningful work in our community.”
Mediterranean Wines, Local Restaurants, and Live Music Create a Hill Country Experience
This year’s festival will feature warm-weather-friendly wines from across the Mediterranean and beyond, giving guests an opportunity to explore a wide range of wine styles while strolling through the open-air lifestyle center.
Attendees will receive a tasting booklet guiding them through 22 wine and food stops throughout the event, creating an immersive tasting experience that blends local flavor with international inspiration.
Guests can also enjoy complimentary bites included with admission from popular local favorites including:
- Buenos Aires Café
- Tony C’s
- The League
- Mighty Cone
- Tiff’s Treats
- All Star Burger
Live music performances from Hill Country Rounders, George Devore, and the Christine Baird Duo will provide the soundtrack for the evening on the Central Plaza Lawn, helping create the relaxed atmosphere that has become synonymous with outdoor gatherings in the Texas Hill Country.
Whether attendees are longtime wine enthusiasts or simply looking for a unique Saturday experience near Austin, organizers say the event is intended to feel approachable, social, and community-driven.
VIP Wine Tasting Offers Limited Seated Experience
In addition to general admission, the festival will once again offer a limited VIP tasting experience hosted at Tony C’s from 2:30 to 4 p.m. before the main event begins.
The guided seated tasting will showcase a curated selection of wines ranging from Texas Hill Country favorites to European blends, offering guests an early opportunity to explore featured pours before heading into the larger festival experience.
VIP tickets are priced at $110, or $90 for Austin Wine & Food Foundation members, and include general admission to the festival.
Organizers noted that seating for the VIP tasting is extremely limited.
Accessibility information for attendees is also being emphasized this year. The VIP tasting area is located on the second floor of Tony C’s and is accessible by stairs only, with no elevator access available.
General admission tickets are $50, while food-only tickets are available for $20.
Festival Supports Central Texas Food Insecurity Programs and Hospitality Scholarships
While the festival centers on wine, food, and entertainment, organizers say its broader purpose is rooted in philanthropy and community support.
All proceeds from the Hill Country Galleria Wine & Food Festival benefit the Austin Wine & Food Foundation, a nonprofit organization focused on supporting the local hospitality industry and addressing food insecurity across Central Texas.
The organization’s philanthropic mission includes educational programming, hospitality scholarships, and grant funding aimed at helping hospitality professionals grow their careers while supporting vulnerable members of the community.
In 2025 alone, the Austin Wine & Food Foundation awarded $65,000 in grants to organizations focused on battling food insecurity in Central Texas.
The foundation’s scholarship program also provides financial support for hospitality workers pursuing certifications, culinary education, sommelier training, hospitality management courses, and other career advancement opportunities within the industry.
To date, the organization has awarded more than $2 million in grants, scholarships, and hospitality assistance initiatives.
For many residents in the greater Austin area, the festival represents a growing trend toward events that combine entertainment with meaningful local impact — supporting both small businesses and community-based causes at the same time.
Hill Country Galleria Continues Building Community Through Events
As Bee Cave and the surrounding Lake Travis communities continue to grow, Hill Country Galleria has increasingly positioned itself as more than a shopping destination.
The 1.3 million-square-foot lifestyle center serves as a gathering place for concerts, festivals, seasonal events, dining experiences, and community activities that bring residents together throughout the year.
Located west of downtown Austin at the intersection of Bee Cave Road, RM 620, and Highway 71, the development includes retail, office space, residential living, restaurants, entertainment venues, and green space designed to support an active community environment.
Events like the Wine & Food Festival continue reinforcing the area’s identity as a place where local culture, outdoor experiences, hospitality, and Hill Country living intersect.
