Help Northwest Assistance Ministries Deliver Meals to Homebound Seniors on Thanksgiving
On Thanksgiving morning, Northwest Assistance Ministries will deliver food and smiles to homebound seniors, and you can help to be a part of this heartwarming experience.
The Meals on Wheels program provided by Northwest Assistance Ministries (NAM) is in need of drivers from 7-10am on Thanksgiving Day. Volunteers will meet at NAM at 7:00 AM and will be done by 9:00 AM, leaving plenty of time for family gatherings that day.
According to NAM, each vehicle needs to bring two of the following items: a cooler with lid or a hot/cold food silver thermal bags, which will allow for one to hold warm meals and another to carry cold meals. Each person will receive three to five meals to deliver.
