Harvest Bend Easter Egg Hunt: Learn More About New Activities, Ice Cream and Family Fun
For Harvest Bend families, spring doesn’t officially begin until neighbors gather at the clubhouse lawn for the community’s annual Easter Egg Hunt. This year’s event, scheduled for Saturday, April 4 from 1–3 p.m., builds on last week’s announcement with even more details — and even more ways for residents to join the fun.
Organizers say the event has been expanded and improved, offering more than just the traditional egg hunt. While the egg scramble remains the centerpiece, this year’s celebration is designed to create a full afternoon of activities for families across the neighborhood.
And there’s one important reminder for parents: arrive right at 1 p.m. so children can participate in the egg hunt portion of the event.
A Harvest Bend Tradition for Families
The Harvest Bend Easter Egg Hunt is open to children up to 10 years old, with organizers adding activities to ensure older siblings and family members have plenty to enjoy as well.
In addition to hunting for candy-filled eggs, families can look forward to:
- Craft kits to make and take home
- Classic outdoor games
- A balloon artist
- A bouncy house
- Photos with the Easter Bunny
- Easter candy for participants
- Fresh popcorn from an on-site popcorn machine
- An ice cream truck serving sweet treats
There will also be a raffle for the grown-ups, giving parents and guardians a chance to join in the excitement.

Volunteers and Donations Needed
Organizers are also calling on the community for support.
Volunteers are needed to help make the afternoon run smoothly. Residents who would like to assist can contact stephanie.s@harvestbend.org to sign up.
In addition, the event team is collecting boxes of any size or shape to help with event setup. Residents can simply leave donated boxes in front of the clubhouse.
Community-led events depend on neighbors stepping up, and organizers say even small contributions — time, materials or simply spreading the word — make a meaningful difference.
Families planning to attend are encouraged to arrive early, bring baskets for egg collecting, and prepare for an afternoon designed to bring the Harvest Bend community together.
