Harris County Precinct 4 Constables Attend Tons of Trucks at St. John Lutheran Church

March 25 2023

Today, Constable Mark Herman's Office attended the second annual Tons of Trucks Event at St. John Lutheran Church located in the 15200 block of Spring Cypress.

In addition to the Constable's squad cars, the event featured over 40 large vehicle for kids to get up close and climb into the drivers seats, including fire trucks, dump trucks, garbage trucks, tow trucks, construction trucks, military trucks, cranes, and even a monster truck.

Attendees were encouraged to bring food items in support Cypress Assistance Ministries, as well as shop at a booth featuring merchandise from CAM's resale store, Angel's Attic. CAM's resale shop booth was among several vendor booths hosted by local small businesses.

Entry to the event was free of charge. Children in attendance were also given the opportunity to ride in a monster truck dubbed "Tantrum", thanks to a generous donation by Texas Truck Works.

All net proceeds from the event were donated to support Cypress Assistance Ministries' ongoing mission to aid those in need throughout the Cypress area. Tons of Trucks is an annual community outreach event hosted by St. John Lutheran to introduce families with small children to St. John and St. John Early Childhood Center.
