Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council Opens New Retail Shop and Resource Center in Katy Mills Mall
Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council (GSSJC) is set to open its newest retail shop and resource center in Katy, aiming to serve the local community with an extensive array of merchandise and support facilities. Located in the Katy Mills Mall, the new Girl Scout Shop, the eighth of its kind within the San Jacinto Council, is expected to serve as a vital hub for local Girl Scouts and their supporters.
Committed to providing a space for Girl Scout enthusiasts from all walks of life, the grand opening will take place on Saturday, September 21, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Attendees will have the chance to explore the new resource center and shop for the latest Girl Scout merchandise. There's also the added excitement of potentially winning one of two $50 gift cards for the shop, providing the perfect opportunity to explore the merchandise on offer, which includes uniforms, badges, and unique Girl Scout apparel. Ellen Stickney, Retail Director at GSSJC, expressed her enthusiasm in a recent release. “We are pleased to announce the opening of our eighth and newest Girl Scout Retail shop, located in Katy, Texas at Katy Mills Mall,” she said. “Our newest shop is centrally located and surrounded by several of our highly populated communities. Our shops are here to serve our girls, volunteers and communities throughout our council.”

Beyond retail, the new center will also offer a versatile space to host troop meetings and events, providing crucial support to local Girl Scouts.

This new Katy area Girl Scout shop is located at 5000 Katy Mills Circle, Katy, TX 77494 and will be open Tuesday through Thursday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
