Get Involved: Upcoming HOA Board Election in Yorktown Colony
The 2025 Annual Meeting for Yorktown Colony is just around the corner, and with it comes an important election to fill five open Board of Director positions. This election is necessary to bring the association into compliance with the by-laws, as no election was held during the February 2024 Annual Meeting. To ensure a balanced leadership structure with staggered terms, two of the positions are for terms originally scheduled for election in 2024, and three positions will be for the upcoming 2025 term.

How to Submit Your Nomination
If you’re interested in running for a Board position, you’re encouraged to submit your nomination by Friday, December 6, 2024. To do so, simply email your nomination to kmathews@pmghouston.com and include a brief biography (no more than 125 words) that highlights your background, relevant experience, and your vision for the community. You may also include a photo (optional) to accompany your biography.
All nominations will be posted on Townsquare, and those received by the deadline will be included on the official ballot/proxy for the 2025 Annual Meeting. This is a great opportunity to get involved and ensure that Yorktown Colony continues to thrive. The HOA Board encourages all members who are passionate about the community and are ready to dedicate their time and energy to consider submitting a nomination for the HOA Board.
