Merry Christmas

The Georgetown Colony I Board members would like to wish the community a Merry Christmas. Safe travels during the holiday season.

Christmas decorating contest

Don’t be a grinch. Show your holiday spirit by decorating your home. Judging will take place the 2nd and 3rd weekends in December for the Christmas decorating contest. Prizes will be awarded. Good luck.

Kids at play

Kids will be out of school for the holidays, so please be mindful of kids playing in the community and slow down. STOP at stop signs and drive friendly.

Vacation watch

Did you know you can request a deputy to drive by and check on your house during your vacation? Check out the Vacation Watch Program here: https://bit.ly/2IfzXPo and submit a request. Also, neighbors are a great deterrent against crime; therefore, ask your neighbor if they can keep an eye on your home.

Keeping our neighborhood safe

Georgetown Colony supports our Harris County Sheriff patrol and contract deputies keeping our neighborhood safe. Be vigilant and report suspicious activity, by calling please the Sheriff’s Department, non-emergency line 713-221-6000.

Winterize Your Home

Heating system checkup will help prepare your home for the winter season. Stay warm my friends!

We are a community that love our pets

The weather will be cooler and it will be the perfect weather to walk your fur babies. Keep your pets safe by ensuring your gates and fences are maintained and your pets are chipped or have an ID collar, just in case they get loose and can be returned safely. If you suspect animal abuse, neglect, hoarding, torture or dogfighting, please report it to the Harris County Animal Cruelty Taskforce at 927PAWS.org or 832-927-PAWS.

Deed Restrictions

Please refer to our deed restrictions to avoid violations and fees. Here are a few to avoid: RV’s, trailers, commercial vehicles parked for an excessive amount of time in public view, growing agricultural, like corn in public view, parking vehicles on your lawn, etc... Deed restrictions will be enforced
