Fulshear Gears Up for National Night Out 2025 with Police Meet-and-Greets, Block Parties, and Community Fun

September 23 2025

National Night Out returns Tuesday, October 7, 2025, offering families across Fulshear a meaningful and fun way to stand together against crime while connecting with neighbors and local law enforcement.

From 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., residents are invited to lock their doors, turn on their porch lights, and step outside to be part of a citywide show of unity. Whether you’re hosting a neighborhood block party or just stopping by the community hub at City Hall, the Fulshear Police Department hopes to see you there.

An Invitation to Connect

Fulshear Police are encouraging residents to register their street parties ahead of the event so officers can stop by, meet neighbors, and answer questions. Registered gatherings will receive visits from officers between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.—a highlight for kids and adults alike.

To register your gathering, simply email Captain Mike McCoy at mmccoy@fulsheartexas.gov by Friday, October 3, 2025, with the following information:

  • Name of the block party organizer
  • Phone number
  • Address of the event

Don’t Have a Block Party? Join the Fun at City Hall

If your street isn’t hosting a gathering—or if you’d like to experience even more of the night—residents can head over to Fulshear City Hall (6611 W. Cross Creek Bend Blvd.), where the Police Department will be stationed for an open house-style celebration. From 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., families can:

  • Tour police and fire vehicles
  • Meet K-9 Blu
  • Take photos with community mascot Sergeant McCann
  • Chat with officers in a relaxed, welcoming setting

A Tradition of Safety and Community

National Night Out is more than just a neighborhood get-together. It’s a coordinated national effort to promote crime prevention and build police-community partnerships. In Fulshear, the evening reflects a shared commitment to keep the city safe, connected, and neighborly.

Whether you're planning a potluck with your neighbors or bringing the kids to City Hall for a look inside a patrol car, this year’s National Night Out is a chance to celebrate what makes Fulshear strong—its people.

For questions, or to register a neighborhood event, contact Captain Mike McCoy at mmccoy@fulsheartexas.gov
