Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra Celebrates All Things Romantic with Captivating Concert
The Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra is thrilled to announce, "An Afternoon of Romance," a musical journey that promises to captivate hearts and souls. This enchanting concert is scheduled for Sunday, February 18th, at 2:00 PM, at the Stafford Centre.

Highlights of the performance include Tchaikovsky's iconic "Romeo and Juliette Fantasy Overture," Brahms' powerful "Tragic Overture," and Howard Hanson's lush Symphony No. 2, the "Romantic."
Adding to the allure of the evening, the repertoire will feature Elgar's soul-stirring "Salut d'amour" and the Intermezzo of Mascagni's "Cavalleria Rusticana." The concert will also showcase the exceptional talent of Harrison Yu, a junior at Cypress Woods High School, as he takes the stage to perform the first movement of Rachmaninoff's monumental Piano Concerto No. 1.
