Fort Bend County 4H 2024 Earth Kind Kids Summer Camp Registration Now Open
Registration is now open for the Fort Bend County 4H 2024 Earth Kind Kids Camp, an exciting opportunity for elementary-age children to immerse themselves in the world of horticulture, gardening, and environmental science. The camp runs from July 22-25 and is specifically designed for youths aged 8-11 or those entering third- through fifth-grade.
Hosted in Building D of the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds in Rosenberg, the camp operates from 9 a.m to 3 p.m every day under the knowledgeable guidance of Fort Bend County Master Gardeners. The Earth Kind Kids Camp is a part of the Junior Master Gardeners (JMG) initiative, an international program supported by 28 universities.
Based at Texas A&M University, JMG's mission is "To grow good kids by igniting a passion for learning, success and service through a unique gardening education.” Learn more about this initiative at their website, www.jmgkids.us.
The registration fee for the camp is $85, which covers all materials, snacks, and a T-shirt. However, space is limited to the first 25 paid participants. You can register for the Camp at the 2024 Earth Kind Kids’ Camp registration website. Registration can be paid through cash, check, or PayPal.
All the events, courses, and fundraisers by FBMG are graciously provided to the community by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension - Fort Bend County.
