Fall Fun on the Courts: Tennis and Pickleball at Mason Creek Community Center in Nottingham Country
As fall begins to settle over Katy and the temperatures start to dip—ever so slightly—it’s the perfect time for Nottingham Country residents to dust off their tennis rackets or grab a pickleball paddle and head over to the Mason Creek Community Center.
Nestled in the heart of the community at 810 Houghton Rd., Katy, TX 77450, the tennis court complex at Mason Creek Community Center is a hidden gem for active adults, casual players, and league enthusiasts alike. Maintained by Mason Creek Utility District, the facility offers six professional-grade tennis courts and six regulation pickleball courts, all designed with players' comfort and performance in mind.
Each court is outfitted with LED lighting, which is not only energy-efficient but also ensures brighter, more consistent visibility for evening matches. And thanks to a proactive resurfacing program, at least two courts are refreshed each year—keeping the surfaces in excellent playing condition.
The complex also includes wind screens, restrooms, bleachers, and a welcoming league community with opportunities to connect, compete, and socialize.
