Fairfield Women’s Club Invites Inwood Park Residents to Join Annual Fourth of July Parade in Cypress
As Independence Day approaches, one of Cypress’s longest-running community traditions is preparing to roll through Fairfield once again—and neighboring residents from communities like Inwood Park are invited to join the celebration.
The Fairfield Women’s Club (FWC) will host its annual Fourth of July Parade on Saturday, July 4, 2026, beginning at 9 a.m. The family-friendly event has become a cherished tradition for Fairfield residents and a festive way for neighbors throughout the Cypress area to celebrate America’s birthday together.
Participants should arrive at Ault Elementary School by 8:30 a.m. for lineup. The parade will begin at the school, travel past Salyards Middle School, and conclude at the Central Park Clubhouse.
Decorate and Join the Fun
One of the most popular aspects of the parade is that everyone is welcome to participate.
Families are encouraged to decorate their cars, trucks, trailers, golf carts, bicycles, scooters, strollers—or even themselves—in patriotic red, white, and blue. No registration is required.
Participants simply need to arrive at Ault Elementary School ready to join the procession. Organizers will direct attendees into lineup groups based on their mode of transportation, and walkers will be positioned toward the back of the parade route to help ensure safety for all participants.
Fairfield Women’s Club volunteers will be on-site with signage and instructions to help organize the lineup process.
