Experience the Magic of Nature: Harris County Precinct 4 to Host Annual Hummingbird Festival at Kleb Woods Nature Preserve
Harris County Precinct 4 is gearing up to host the annual Hummingbird Festival, set to take place at Kleb Woods Nature Preserve in Tomball on Saturday, September 14 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Lovers of nature and wildlife have much to look forward to as the festival coincides with the peak migration season of hummingbirds. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to see these remarkable birds up close and learn about their peculiar structure and fascinating biology.
A host of activities are planned for the day, suitable for all ages, including games and educational programs. Visitors can immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the surroundings with a guided nature walk or take a journey through history with a tour of the 1896 Kleb House. Blacksmith demonstrations will also be a unique highlight of the day's events.

Kleb Woods Nature Preserve, the venue for the festival, is a 133.5-acre haven, preserving the rich environmental and cultural history of northwest Harris County. Once the homestead of Elmer Kleb, the preserve is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and boasts a variety of amenities such as a wetlands area, nearly 4-miles of nature trails, a picnic area, a pavilion, and a dedicated space for Scout camping.
For the convenience of the festival-goers, parking and shuttle service will be provided from New Kentucky Park and the north end Kleb Woods parking lot. Admission to the festival is free.
