Einstein Bros. Bagels Expanding in Spring With New Rayford Road Location Planned for 2027
Another Einstein Bros. Bagels location is on the way to Spring, continuing the brand’s growing return across the Houston area and bringing a familiar breakfast and coffee option to the rapidly developing Rayford Road corridor.
According to recently filed state construction documents, Einstein Bros. Bagels plans to open a new location at 2015 Rayford Rd., Suite 100, Spring, TX 77386. The project involves a tenant finish-out inside an existing leased retail space totaling approximately 2,555 square feet. Construction is scheduled to begin Aug. 20, 2026, with completion projected for Jan. 29, 2027.
The privately funded renovation project carries an estimated construction cost of $350,000 and adds another recognizable national restaurant brand to one of Montgomery County’s busiest commercial growth areas.
Rayford Road Continues to Attract New Restaurants and Retail
For residents in Spring, Harmony, Imperial Oaks, Benders Landing, and surrounding Montgomery County neighborhoods, the new Einstein Bros. Bagels location represents more than just another restaurant opening. It reflects the continued transformation of the Rayford Road corridor into a major destination for dining, shopping, and everyday conveniences closer to home.
The area has experienced sustained residential growth over the past decade, with thousands of new homes driving demand for additional breakfast spots, coffee shops, and fast-casual dining options. As traffic and population continue increasing throughout southern Montgomery County, nationally recognized brands have increasingly targeted Spring for expansion.
Located near major commuter routes and growing master-planned communities, the future Einstein Bros. Bagels is expected to appeal to morning commuters, parents during school drop-off hours, remote workers, and residents looking for convenient neighborhood dining options.
Einstein Bros. Bagels Continues Its Houston-Area Comeback
The upcoming Spring location is part of Einstein Bros. Bagels’ broader reentry into the Houston market after many area stores closed during a nationwide restructuring effort several years ago.
Earlier this year, My Neighborhood News reported on another upcoming Einstein Bros. Bagels location planned along FM 2920 in Spring, signaling that the company is continuing to invest in suburban Houston growth areas.
For longtime Houston-area residents, the return has been notable. Einstein Bros. Bagels previously maintained a much larger footprint across the region before many corporate-owned locations quietly closed in the late 2010s as part of operational changes by parent company Coffee & Bagel Brands.
In recent years, however, franchise-led expansion has helped bring the brand back to communities across Greater Houston, including locations in The Heights, the Medical Center area, and along Westheimer.
What Residents Can Expect From the New Spring Location
Einstein Bros. Bagels is widely known for its fresh-baked bagels, breakfast sandwiches, coffee drinks, and grab-and-go morning menu options. Popular menu items include the Farmhouse sandwich, signature shmears, avocado toast, specialty bagels, cold brew coffee, and catering bundles often used for offices, schools, and community gatherings.
The addition of another breakfast-focused restaurant also aligns with broader commercial development trends happening across Spring and Montgomery County, where new retail centers and restaurant projects continue following residential expansion deeper into suburban areas.
If construction remains on schedule, the Rayford Road Einstein Bros. Bagels location could welcome customers in early 2027.
For many local residents, especially those who remember the brand’s earlier Houston presence, the opening may feel less like a new arrival and more like the return of a longtime favorite.
