Einstein Bros. Bagels Coming to Spring in Summer 2026

January 08 2026

A longtime favorite for fresh bagels, breakfast sandwiches, and coffee is making its way to Spring. Einstein Bros. Bagels will open a brand-new location at 5330 FM 2920 Rd, Spring, TX 77388, with construction starting in March 2026and doors expected to open by late July 2026.

The upcoming 2,096-square-foot store will bring the brand’s full menu to the Spring-Klein area, giving local residents a convenient new spot for everything from morning coffee runs to weekend brunch-style bites.

What Happened to Einstein Bros. Bagels in Houston?

For years, Einstein Bros. was a familiar presence across the Houston metro area—inside shopping centers, office buildings, and hospital campuses. But beginning in the late 2010s, many of the company-owned stores in Houston quietly shuttered as part of a larger national restructuring by the brand’s parent company, Coffee & Bagel Brands. The closures weren’t due to lack of local interest—in fact, many Houstonians still talk fondly about their favorite menu items—it was a corporate move to streamline operations in select markets.

Now, the bagel brand is beginning to rebuild its Houston footprint with a franchise-driven model, and the new Spring location is part of that wave of reentry. Over the past two years, Einstein Bros. has reopened in spots like The Heights, Medical Center Area, and along Westheimer, laying the foundation for additional suburban growth in areas like Tomball, Katy, and Cypress.

What to Expect on the Menu

Einstein Bros. Bagels is best known for its fresh-baked bagels (made daily), signature shmears, and hearty breakfast sandwiches, along with cold brews, lattes, and classic drip coffee.

Fan favorites include:

  • The Farmhouse: a toasted bagel with bacon, eggs, cheddar, and hash browns
  • Avocado Toast on a fresh bagel base
  • Sweet bagels like Cinnamon Sugar or French Toast
  • Savory options like Asiago, Everything, and Green Chile

Vegetarian and lighter options are also on the menu, along with seasonal specials and catering bundles that are perfect for meetings or weekend gatherings. With online ordering and mobile pickup available, the brand also appeals to busy families and professionals.

A Welcome Addition to FM 2920

The FM 2920 corridor continues to grow, with more dining, shopping, and residential development drawing new interest to the area. For local residents in Spring, Klein, and surrounding neighborhoods, the new Einstein Bros. will offer a much-needed breakfast and coffee option that combines fast-casual convenience with comfort food appeal.

Opening Summer 2026

Einstein Bros. Bagels is targeting a late July 2026 opening, just in time for the back-to-school season. Once open, it will join the ranks of several reestablished Houston-area locations—signaling that the bagel brand is truly back and ready to serve.
