Eat Drink HTX 2024: Dine Locally, Give Generously Through February 29

February 20 2024

Calling all food lovers! The third annual Eat Drink HTX, presented by The Cleverley Stone Foundation, is now underway and will run until the 29th of February. With over 170 participating eateries across the Greater Houston Area, this event aims to encourage people to dine locally, while raising crucial funds for community non-profits.

Katy area foodies can raise their forks close to home at participating restaurants like Astor Farm to Table, Fadi’s Katy, Home Run Dugout, Howdy Homemade Ice Cream, Phat Eatery, Postino Cinco Ranch, and The Café at Brookwood, to name just a few. Eat Drink HTX not only brings a boost to local businesses during historically slower periods, but it also raises funds for two incredible organizations: the Houston Food Bank and DePelchin Children’s Center.

The Houston Food Bank, a crucial lifeline for many struggling families, provides over 150 million nutritious meals across 18 counties. The impact of inflation has hit lower-income, working families particularly hard, and, "Funds raised from this event will help bring food to the table and improve the wellbeing of the families that we serve," said Brian Greene, President and CEO of the Houston Food Bank.

On the other hand, DePelchin Children's Center supports and sustains children and the families who care for them. "Funds raised by Eat Drink HTX will help DePelchin Children’s Center provide guidance and support to vulnerable children and the families who care for them," said Jennifer Jarriel, President and CEO of the DePelchin Children’s Center.

Pricing for Eat Drink HTX is designed with accessibility in mind, with a prix fixe brunch or lunch at $15 and dinner at $25. Participating restaurants will donate $1 per brunch or lunch sold, and $3 per dinner, directly benefiting Houston Food Bank and DePelchin Children’s Center.

So make a reservation, bring your appetite, and enjoy the best the Katy area has to offer through February 29th.
