Cypress is about to get a little sweeter with the announcement that Duck Donuts is opening a new location in the Fairfield area. Scheduled to begin construction in early May 2025 and wrap up in September 2025, this will be the second Duck Donuts location in the Greater Houston Area, following the upcoming store on Rayford Road in Spring. The new Cypress location, at 15055 Fairfield Meadows Drive, will give local residents another place to enjoy fresh, made-to-order donuts in a welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere.
Duck Donuts, known for its customizable donut experience, has grown significantly since its humble beginnings in 2007. The story started in the coastal town of Duck, North Carolina, where founder Russ DiGilio and his family vacationed and longed for the warm, fresh donuts that were hard to find. Inspired by this craving, they decided to create their own, leading to the opening of the first Duck Donuts shop. Today, the brand has expanded across the United States, with over 100 locations, and has become a favorite for those looking for a fun and unique donut experience.
