Discover George Bush Park
Have you been to George Bush Park? Located south of I-10 and west of Highway 6 at 16756 Westheimer Parkway, George Bush Park encompasses a whopping 7,800 acres inside the Barker Reservoir. The park hosts a number of soccer fields, softball/baseball fields, playgrounds, beautiful dog parks for large and small dogs, an equestrian trail, and 11.36 miles of hike and bike trails ranging over Buffalo Bayou.
Some of the sports associations that utilize George Bush Park include Bayou City Flyers, Fun Fair Positive Soccer, Katy Premier F.C. (Alief Socer Club) and West Oaks Little League.
The park is open from 7 a.m. - 10 p.m. daily, and closed on Thanksgiving Day, Dec. 24-25, and Jan. 1.
Additionally, there are three reservable pavilions adjacent to a delightful playground. Scout reservations are also available at this park!
