At the heart of the Katy store is Pedro Mazariegos, Assistant Manager, whose story is as hands-on as the services his team provides. Originally from Houston, Pedro now lives in the Katy area with his wife and two children. “I started in this company at 14 years old as a helper,” he said. “Over the years, I worked my way up, and eventually I had the opportunity to purchase the company. Now, we’re looking to grow Discount Hitch into a nationwide brand.”
Pedro’s dedication to his craft is rooted in his love for trucks, the outdoors, and family. “Outside of work, my family and I enjoy 4x4 adventures, road trips, and staying connected to the truck community,” he shared. “We love camping, going off the grid, and exploring Texas together. It’s more than a job—it’s a lifestyle.”

The Katy store, conveniently located on I-10 near Barker Cypress, has become a go-to destination for truck owners across the region.
