Daiso Set to Expand in Katy with Second Store
The Katy community is gearing up to welcome a second Daiso store at 23720 Westheimer Parkway, Suite 702-I. The new store, set to open its doors by mid-December this year, will be located in a sprawling 6,000 square-foot space previously occupied by Sally's Beauty Supply, which will be moving to a smaller space next door.
According to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, the store's space renovation work is scheduled to kick off in mid-August, giving the location a fresh, new look. With this launch, Katy will be home to two of the more than 100 Daiso outlets spread across the United States.
With a presence in the retail industry spanning over half a century, Daiso, a family-owned and operated business, has grown to operate more than 6,000 stores worldwide. The new store will become part of about a dozen other Daiso outlets in the Greater Houston area.
