Cypress Christian School Celebrates Ribbon Cutting at New Bridgeland Campus Ahead of September Opening
A sense of celebration filled the air in Cypress on the morning of August 28 as families, staff, alumni, and community partners gathered for the official ribbon cutting at the new Cypress Christian School (CCS) campus in Bridgeland. The private K-12 Christian school will officially welcome students to the new site on Tuesday, September 3, 2025, marking the beginning of a new era in a purpose-built facility designed to foster both academic and spiritual growth.
Located at 21455 Bridgeland Creek Parkway, the campus sits near Prairieland Crossing Drive in one of Cypress’s fastest-growing master-planned communities. The event drew donors, board members, alumni, construction and design teams, and members of the CCS community who helped make the long-planned relocation a reality. Following the ribbon cutting, guests were invited to tour the new facilities and explore the campus students will now call home.
Why Bridgeland? A Move Rooted in Vision and Growth
After decades at its former location at 11123 Cypress N. Houston Road, CCS leadership saw the need to expand to accommodate growing enrollment and offer enhanced educational experiences. The Bridgeland property provides that opportunity—and then some.
At full capacity, the new campus will serve up to 1,000 students across 140,000 square feet of classrooms, fine arts spaces, and athletic facilities, all set on 40 acres of land.
“By moving to Bridgeland, Cypress Christian School will obtain what we believe is a God-given opportunity to fulfill our dreams of expanding our vision and mission,” school leaders shared in a statement. “Beautiful new facilities will enhance our academic and athletic excellence and provide an opportunity in the near future to magnify our STEM, music and fine arts programs.”

Admissions and School Culture at Cypress Christian School
As part of its admissions process, CCS places an emphasis on aligning with families who share the school’s values. According to the school, at least one parent must provide a written account of their Christian faith journey, and students must meet behavioral and academic standards.
The school calls its tight-knit atmosphere the “One Heart” culture—where students, parents, faculty, and leadership are united as one family. “Visitors regularly comment on the unique and loving environment at Cypress Christian School,” leaders said. “We recognize and are grateful for the work of the Holy Spirit as the unifying agent in our school community.”
From Groundbreaking to Grand Opening
Construction began with a groundbreaking ceremony on February 23, 2024, and moved swiftly over the following 18 months. By late June 2025, the CCS staff—with help from student-athletes—transitioned learning materials, furniture, and resources from the Jones Road campus to Bridgeland.
According to public filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, Phase I of the school’s masterplan represents a $59.7 million investment. The scope included a secondary school, an elementary school, a gymnasium, and a sports complex with baseball, softball, and football facilities—all totaling approximately 142,590 square feet of new construction.
Additional filings include a 15,000-square-foot fieldhouse—a $5 million metal building that houses a weight room, locker rooms, offices, and storage—and two modular classroom buildings totaling 13,400 square feet at a cost of $400,000.

Thanks to coordinated teamwork and planning, classrooms were prepped and ready for teachers to begin decorating ahead of the new school year.
The former CCS campus is now home to Bob Hope School Cy-Fair, a free public charter school.
Looking Ahead in Bridgeland
The new Cypress Christian School campus represents more than just a physical move. It is also a reflection of the broader growth in Cypress, Texas, where educational and faith-based institutions continue to expand to meet the needs of families in communities like Bridgeland, Towne Lake, and Fairfield.
CCS’s new facility aims to be a long-term home where students “learn, grow and worship for years to come,” and where families can feel part of something lasting.
As the first day of school approaches, the community that gathered at the ribbon cutting looks forward to watching this new chapter unfold—together.
