Looking for a place to serve? Have a little extra time on your hands? Need volunteer hours for school? Sign up to volunteer with Cypress Assistance Ministries today! Immediate volunteer needs include Angel's Attic cashier, donation center and food pantry driver.
Angel's Attic Cashier
Our Angels' Attic resale shop is always in need of volunteers willing to help merchandise, straighten the store, hang clothes, assist customers, work at the front counter, and help as a cashier. If you enjoy working with the public, have good decorating skills, or enjoy merchandising, then this is a great way to share your time!
Donation Center
Volunteers are always needed to help process community donations at our donation center. CAM receives hundreds of donated items a day; we need your help in sorting, cleaning, hanging, and tagging. It’s a busy environment, but our volunteers have a great time!
Food Pantry Driver
Volunteer with our Food Pantry to help area families. The food pantry needs help stocking shelves, packing groceries, and picking up donations of bread and other food items from grocery stores and restaurants.
About Cypress Assistance Ministries (CAM)
Cypress Assistance Ministries is a faith based organization that serves individuals and families in financial crisis, those on the brink of homelessness, the elderly, the unemployed and anyone that needs hope for a better future.
Unexpected events such as illness, separation, job loss, and family crisis can be overwhelming, and that’s when CAM steps in. Assistance ranges from financial help with rent or utilities, food, furniture, clothing and household goods to providing job counseling services and job leads.
Our goal is to restore our neighbors, regardless of religious or ethnic background, to self-sufficiency. In addition, CAM provides school supplies, holiday meals, and toys at Christmas for our neighbors in need.
