Cy-Hope Launches Christmas Assistance Program to Spread Holiday Magic in Cy-Fair and Cypress
Cy-Hope, a local nonprofit dedicated to supporting underserved children, is calling on the community to come together and make a difference this holiday season with its annual Christmas Assistance Program. The initiative invites individuals, families, and businesses to sponsor a child and provide them with gifts from their personal holiday wish lists, spreading joy and warmth to children in need.
To participate, community members can sign up to sponsor a child through the program’s registration page on SignUp Genius. Participants are encouraged to purchase gifts with a suggested budget of $75 to $100 per child. Sponsors should label each gift with the child's name and specific code, ensuring accurate distribution. Cy-Hope recommends including gift receipts for any clothing items to ensure the right fit.
“The holidays are a time of giving, and we are excited to bring our community together to make sure every child feels loved and supported,” said Robyn Ficalora, Cy-Hope representative. “By sponsoring a child, you’re not just giving gifts—you’re giving hope and making a lasting impact on their lives.”

The Christmas Assistance Program will accept gift drop-offs at Cy-Hope's main location at 12715 Telge Road in Cypress, from December 11–13. In addition to toys and gifts, Cy-Hope is also accepting donations of wrapping supplies, including paper, bows, and gift bags, to help wrap the presents and ensure they have the supplies needed to wrap all of the donations.
