Cy-Fair ISD Superintendent’s Fun Run Returns in 2025
After a one-year hiatus, the Cypress-Fairbanks ISD Superintendent’s Fun Run is set to return on March 29, 2025, at the Berry Center in Cypress. This much-anticipated event benefits the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation (CFEF), an organization dedicated to empowering students through scholarships and funding staff development grants.
The Fun Run will feature a 5K run and a 1-mile family-friendly walk/run, offering participants an exciting way to support education in the community. The 5K course will wind through Towne Lake and Lone Star College—CyFair, while the family walk will include an engaging route with high school spirit teams and inflatable tunnels.
In its last event in 2023, the Fun Run raised a record $210,000 for scholarships, with approximately 8,000 participants from the community joining to support the cause. Memorial Hermann Cypress will underwrite the event, and sponsorship opportunities are available by contacting funrun@cfisd.net.

CFEF has been awarding scholarships to Cypress-Fairbanks ISD students since 1970, with a vision to prepare students for leadership and higher education.
