Cy-Fair HS Football Team Advances to Class 6A Regional Semifinals
The Cy-Fair High School football team won its area round postseason game Nov. 17 and advanced to the Class 6A regional semifinals for the first time in five years.
The Bobcats beat Katy, 28-21, in overtime at Cy-Fair FCU Stadium. The playoff victory marks Cy-Fair’s first time advancing past the area round since 2018. Cy-Fair reached the fourth round (Class 6A Division I Region III final) that season, a year after the football program won the Class 6A Division II state championship.
Cy-Fair advances in the Class 6A Division I playoff bracket and will face Galena Park North Shore on Friday, Nov. 24 at 2 p.m. at NRG Stadium (8825 Kirby Dr.).
Presale general admission tickets will be through ticketmaster.com. Ticket prices will be sold for $13 (adults) and $7 (students) plus Ticketmaster fees.
Passcodes are avaliable for both students (B25JW) and adults (B24PAW) to lower tickets to those price points. Enter the passcode on the “Unlock” box on the Ticketmaster sale page. The online offer is available until 11:45 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 23.
Tickets at the gate will be sold for $16 apiece.
Parking at NRG Stadium will be $20 per vehicle and no cash is accepted. A clear bag policy for the stadium is in place.
