Copper Grove Families Gather for a Spooktacular Trunk or Treat in the Park
It was all smiles, sparkles, and a little bit of spooky fun at Copper Grove Park this past Saturday as families gathered for the annual Trunk or Treat in the Park.
Hosted by the Copper Grove HOA, the October 26 event brought together neighbors of all ages for an afternoon of laughter, candy, and creative costumes. From tiny dragons to mini superheroes, the park was filled with kids excitedly weaving between decorated cars, each one more imaginative than the last.
Volunteers showed up early to turn the park’s lot into a festive wonderland. Cars were decked out in Halloween themes—some silly, some spooky—with everything from monster mouths to haunted castles popping out of trunks. And thanks to the HOA, no one had to bring their own candy—just their creativity and community spirit.
“We want to extend a huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us,” the HOA said in a message after the event. “A special shoutout goes to our incredible volunteers and trunk hosts. Your energy and effort made this event a truly memorable one.”

The two-hour event offered more than just candy—it gave families a chance to slow down, catch up with neighbors, and enjoy one of the things Copper Grove does best: showing up for each other.
As the sun set on another successful Trunk or Treat, the only question left was: how will anyone top this year’s decorations next time? One thing’s certain—this Copper Grove tradition will be back, and families are already looking forward to it.
