Converse Public Library Honored with 2025 Achievement of Excellence Award for 7th Consecutive Year
The Converse Public Library has once again distinguished itself as one of the leading libraries in Texas. The Texas Municipal Library Directors Association (TMLDA) has awarded the library the 2025 Achievement of Library Excellence Award—an honor it has now received for an impressive seventh year in a row.
This prestigious recognition celebrates libraries that demonstrate outstanding service in multiple key areas including community outreach, lifelong learning, digital access, workforce development, and creative programming. Only a small fraction of public libraries in Texas receive this award annually, making Converse's continued success even more significant.
City officials and residents alike are celebrating the announcement as a testament to the library’s enduring commitment to meeting the needs of the Converse community and the greater Bexar County area.
