Constables Respond to Over 600 Calls in Nottingham Country in September 2025
Harris County Precinct 5 Constable's Office deputies remained steadily engaged throughout Nottingham Country in September 2025, responding to 617 calls for service during the month. That’s a slight drop from August’s total of 637, but deputies continued maintaining visibility with a strong patrol presence and community-focused law enforcement.
According to the latest report dated October 17, 2025, contract checks—which are proactive patrols aimed at deterring crime—accounted for the largest portion of activity once again. A total of 537 contract patrols were completed by deputies dedicated to the Nottingham area.
Across their broader assignment areas, the four deputies assigned to Nottingham Country handled 987 total calls in September. Precinct-wide, 282 arrests were made during the month, including 60 DWIs.

No major spikes in criminal activity were reported, and deputies noted consistent patrol coverage and strong community engagement throughout the month.

Deputies urge residents not to leave valuables such as firearms, IDs, cash, passports, or jewelry inside vehicles — even when parked at home.
Parking Enforcement
Residents are reminded that vehicles may not remain on public roadways if they:

Are five years or older and appear abandoned
In such cases, vehicles may be tagged for removal. If not moved, they may be towed after 48 hours, or immediately if they pose a traffic hazard or are disabled.
