Community Volunteers Pitch in for Tomball Little League Field Work Day

Home run! Our community hit it out of the park at the Tomball Little League Field Work Day on Saturday, September 16. They prepped the fields for a fantastic fall season with fresh wood on the stands, refreshed flower beds, and shiny new ball returns.

Thanks to all the volunteers from Tidy Up Tomball, Tomball Rotary Club, Tomball Police Department, Greater Tomball Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Tomball community for their amazing teamwork on this project! Thanks to McCoy’s of Tomball, materials needed to complete the bleachers on Field 4 were donated, as well as many other small projects around the park.
The following weekend, opening day was a huge success with the Tomball Little League's concession stand re-opened and serving hot food, the fields in excellent condition, comfortable and safe seating for spectators, and the opening pitch thrown by Jeffrey Bert of Tomball PD.
