Community Spotlight: Mary Jo Peckham Aquatic and Fitness Center
Did you know that you can enjoy a natatorium, miniature golf, a fitness center and more right here in Katy - all for free?
Located at 5597 Gardenia Lane, Katy, TX 77493, the Mary Jo Peckham Aquatic and Fitness Center was developed following an August 1994 expansion under former Commissioner Steve Radack and former County Judge Jon Lindsay. Today, it is maintained by Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner Lesley Briones.

Fitness Center activities include yoga, karate, fitness machines, cardio muscular training and blood pressure screening.
Enjoy mini golf at the Mary Jo Peckham Aquatic & Fitness Center Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Clubs and balls are available in the front lobby.
At Mary Jo Peckham Park, many special events are held throughout the year, including Summer Reading Kickoff, outdoor movie nights, and other featured events.
The indoor pool offers free swims, water exercise, American Red Cross lessons and arthritis swim lessons.
