Community Dog Park

The new dog park is located at the intersection of Bright Summer Ln and Terra Hollow Lane. If you are coming down Bright Summer Lane, you will take a right onto Terra Hollow Lane and look for the double wooden gates on your left-hand side. This is located near the water treatment plant. We hope you are enjoying the additions and improvements we made to the dog park!

Our goal with this project was to create something fun and enjoyable for our residents, out of property that was not currently being utilized. This area provides a safe space to unleash your dogs, to play and exercise outside in the community. We have installed a few benches for your convenience while you let your dogs run. Unfortunately, this land does hold quite a bit of water when it rains and the mosquitos can be brutal. We do have the area routinely sprayed for mosquitos, but strongly recommend you bring some bug repellent with you.

Once you enter the dog park, you will notice there are several fenced in areas. There is a section available for large dogs, to your left and a section available for smaller dogs, to your right. Straight ahead from the entrance, is an exceptionally large area for all dogs (who are friendly with other dogs and people) to congregate and play together. This was built with the intention of giving dogs plenty of running room and to allow some dogs to be separated as needed.

We hope our community dog park will be a useful amenity for all our dog owners. Outside of the benefit of a safe, open area to exercise and play, new scenery and smells can create mental stimulation that is beneficial for your dog. It also can be nice way to facilitate socialization between your dog and a variety of breeds and dog types. If you know your dog is not friendly with other dogs or people, please refrain from unleashing them in the open area of the dog park, as we want to ensure this stays a safe place for pets and their owners alike.

Please be courteous to your fellow neighbors and their four-legged friends by using the provided receptacle to dispose of any trash.

If you have any further questions or concerns regarding the new dog park, please feel free to call the Lakemont Onsite office or email lakemontonsite@grahammanagementhouston.com.
