COMING SOON! CONSOLIDATED COMMUNICATIONS FIBER OPTIC SERVICE
With all the requirements for greater bandwidth and faster Internet in today’s world, Consolidated Communications is gearing up to begin a fiber optic overbuild plan to provide gigabit services over its fiber optic network to all existing residential developments that are currently being provided service via copper cables and equipment. When completed, this will allow all residential homeowners the option of much greater speeds and durability for their Internet needs. Implementation will be a three step process. First its construction crews, which will be provided by the Varcable company, will install the new fiber optic lines. They will be boring this line in to prevent service damage and afterwards will restore the ground back to as close to its original condition as possible. In the second step we will see technicians from the Splicers Inc. company splicing the fiber network to provide the service connections. Once splicing is complete the Consolidated Communications marketing team will be reaching out to Settlement residents to inform us that the fiber network is complete and ready for service.
We are asked to be on the lookout for door hangers on our front doors notifying us that crews will be working in our area and will need access to the utility easement. The Consolidated Communications team says that it looks forward to working with our residents to bring us the benefit of having gigabit services to our homes!
