Colonies Swim Season 2026 Registration Opens: What Residents Need to Know Before Pool Days Begin

April 09 2026

As temperatures continue to rise across The Colonies, many families are already thinking ahead to one of the most anticipated parts of the year—pool season. For residents in Harris County MUD 102, early swim season registration is now officially underway, offering a chance to secure access before the summer rush begins.

The Colonies Neighborhood Center (CNC), in partnership with Harris County Municipal Utility District 102 (Harris County MUD 102), has announced multiple early registration dates throughout April and May. For families, this isn’t just about convenience—it’s about ensuring uninterrupted access to one of the community’s most valued amenities during peak summer months.

Early Registration Dates and Location for The Colonies Residents

Early registration for the 2026 swim season will take place on select weekends, all from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.:

  • April 11–12
  • April 18–19
  • April 25–26
  • May 2–3
  • May 16–17
  • May 23–25
  • May 30–31

Due to ongoing facility construction, registration has been temporarily relocated. Residents should head to the Harris County MUD 102 Administration Building, located at 15300 Falmouth Avenue, Houston, TX 77084 (Google Maps reference: 6760 Kentwick Drive, near the water tower).

This temporary adjustment ensures the process remains accessible while improvements continue—another sign of ongoing investment in The Colonies’ shared spaces.

Swim Pass Pricing, Household Savings, and What to Bring

Season passes remain affordably priced to encourage broad community participation. Residents 18 and older can purchase passes for $30, while youth ages 4 to 17 are $20 each. For larger households, there’s a built-in cap—no family will pay more than $150 total, provided all members live at the same address.

Proof of residency is required at registration to qualify for the household maximum, reinforcing the neighborhood-focused nature of the amenity.

For those who prefer flexibility, red daily pass cards are available for $50. It’s important to note that all payments must be made at the time of registration, and only cash or checks will be accepted—no credit cards.

More Than a Pool: Access to Courts and Community Connection

In addition to pool access, residents can also register for tennis and pickleball court keys for a one-time $20 fee. These amenities continue to grow in popularity across The Colonies, offering more ways for neighbors to stay active and connected.

For many residents, these shared spaces aren’t just recreational—they’re where friendships form, kids spend their summers, and neighbors become familiar faces.

Why Early Registration Matters for The Colonies Community

Securing a swim pass early helps residents avoid last-minute lines and ensures they’re ready for opening day. More importantly, participation supports the upkeep and operation of neighborhood amenities, helping maintain property values and quality of life across The Colonies.

As the community continues to grow, these seasonal traditions play a key role in preserving the character and connection residents value.

What Residents Should Do Next

Residents planning to register should gather proof of residency, bring cash or check payments, and attend one of the scheduled early registration dates. For full details and updates, visit the official Harris County MUD 102 website at hcmud102.org

With summer quickly approaching, now is the time for The Colonies residents to get prepared, get registered, and get ready for another season of poolside memories.
