City of Katy Spring Break Camp 2026: A Week of Sports, STEM and Safe Fun at Woodsland Community Center

March 04 2026

As Spring Break approaches, many Katy families are asking the same question: What can my kids do that’s safe, active, and genuinely fun while school is out?

The City of Katy Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with P.L.A.Y. (Positive Learning in Action for Youth), is offering a solution designed with local families in mind — the City of Katy/P.L.A.Y. Spring Break Camps, scheduled for March 9–13, 2026 at the Woodsland Park & Community Center, located at 443 Danover Rd., Katy, TX 77494.

For working parents, busy households, and families looking to keep children engaged during Spring Break in Katy, this program blends structured activity with creativity — all within a supervised, community-centered environment.

A Community-Based Approach to Youth Recreation

Hosted at Woodsland Park & Community Center, the camp continues the City of Katy’s emphasis on accessible youth programming that supports both physical activity and creative development.

Through its partnership with P.L.A.Y., the department aims to create more than just a week of entertainment. Programs like this contribute to children’s confidence, teamwork skills, and social growth — benefits that extend beyond Spring Break itself.
