City of Katy Fussell Senior Center to Host Alzheimer's Disease Awareness Presentation
The City of Katy Fussell Senior Center is proud to host a community educational event presented by the Alzheimer's Association of Katy/West Houston.
An estimated 6.7 million Americans age 65 and older are living with Alzheimer’s dementia in 2023. 1 in 3 seniors die with Alzheimer's or another dementia, more than breast cancer and prostate cancer combined! Early detection can provide a range of benefits and treatment options, however.
On Tuesday, October 24, the Alzheimer's Association of Katy/West Houston will present "10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer's Disease" at the City of Katy Fussell Senior Center, where attendees will learn the 10 warning signs for Alzheimer's Disease and dementia so you can find help immediately. Many local senior service professionals will be in attendance to offer immediate guidance. This event is open to the public, and there is no RSVP, membership, or fee requirement.
