Additionally, candidates must be up to date on their taxes and free of any outstanding debts to the City of Fulshear. There is no filing fee to run for office.

Key Election Dates and Voting Information
The candidate filing deadline is February 14, 2025, followed by a write-in candidacy deadline on February 18, 2025. Ballot candidates who wish to withdraw must do so by February 21, 2025.
Voting will take place on May 3, 2025, with polling locations and times to be announced. Early voting will also be available, and details regarding schedules and locations will be shared as they become available. The City of Fulshear contracts with the Fort Bend County Elections Office to administer the election.
