Chesmar’s Courtyard Collection Now Selling in Prairieland Village as Bridgeland Diversifies Housing Options
In Northwest Houston’s Bridgeland, one of the region’s largest master-planned communities, residential development continues at a steady pace. The latest project to hit the market is the Courtyard Collection by Chesmar Homes, now available in the Fiery Skipper neighborhood of Prairieland Village. The series reintroduces a home style first seen in Parkland Village—this time with an emphasis on connected outdoor spaces and flexible interiors.
This rollout follows April’s announcement of the Easthaven Collection in Bridgeland Central, offering a more urban-oriented take on single-family housing. Together, the two developments reflect Bridgeland’s ongoing strategy to accommodate a wide range of homebuyers through varied architectural styles and community layouts across its distinct villages.
Courtyard Collection: Compact Footprints, Shared Outdoor Spaces
The Courtyard Collection is structured around a shared entry drive, with decorative pavers and a layout that places several homes around a communal courtyard. The design encourages informal interaction between neighbors while still offering private patios and balconies.
“Singles, starting families, growing families, empty nesters, and retirees — our community offers a solution for homebuyers in every stage of life,” said Steve Sams, Senior Vice President, MPC Residential for Howard Hughes. “Recognizing that Chesmar’s Courtyard Collection in Parkland was popular with today’s homebuyers, it was important to continue to include this residential product as part of our diverse offerings.”

Homes range from 1,474 to 2,054 square feet and incorporate prairie-style architecture with modern farmhouse elements. Interiors feature tall ceilings, muted color palettes, and abundant windows designed to make spaces feel open and welcoming. Kitchens are outfitted with quartz countertops, energy-efficient appliances, and designer cabinetry, with multiple color options available.
Several features—like programmable thermostats, tankless gas water heaters, and garage door openers—are included as standard, and the two-story layouts are designed to be adaptable for a home office, guest room, or other needs.
Fiery Skipper’s Location and Amenities
Fiery Skipper is located within Prairieland Village, one of several neighborhoods in Bridgeland’s sprawling residential layout. The area offers access to the Longwing Landing Amenity Center, trails, parks, and waterways. The nearby Grand Parkway provides road access to employment hubs, and development is ongoing at Bridgeland Central’s Village Green, which is expected to bring additional retail and dining options.
Chesmar’s model home at 21218 Creeping Bentgrass Drive is now open for tours, with hours from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday and Monday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.

Easthaven Collection: A Shift Toward Urban-Style Living
Elsewhere in Bridgeland, a different style of home is taking shape. Announced in April 2025, the Easthaven Collection introduces a residential series focused on urban walkability and contemporary design, situated within the Bridgeland Central commercial district. Homes in this collection range from 2,500 to 3,150 square feet, offering 2 to 4 bedrooms and optional rooftop terraces.
“With the Easthaven Collection, we’re building on that commitment — introducing a more urban-inspired single-family offering that reflects how today’s buyers want to live and supports our vision for a dynamic, walkable town center,” said Jim Carman, President of the Houston Region at Howard Hughes.
Constructed by David Weekley Homes and Brightland Homes, Easthaven residences feature dual-access garages, expanded front porches, and design elements aimed at fostering engagement between residents and the surrounding streetscape. The homes are located near future retail, dining, and office spaces at Village Green, with model homes open in both Creekland Village and Prairieland Village.
Easthaven will also offer trail connections to the Josey Lake corridor, access to dedicated neighborhood parks, and proximity to schools in Cy-Fair ISD. New public, private, and charter schools—including Harmony Science Academy–Bridgeland and Cypress Christian School—are expected to open by fall 2025.

A Community of Contrasts
The release of the Courtyard and Easthaven collections highlights the range of residential options being built in Bridgeland, each tied to different ideas about neighborhood layout, home design, and lifestyle priorities. While the Courtyard Collection targets buyers seeking a more traditional, community-centered setup with compact footprints, Easthaven leans toward walkable urbanism with larger homes and design features that prioritize outdoor entertaining and modern curb appeal.
