Lee Jamison’s colorful and engaging exhibition invites guests to wander along sun-dappled trails and feel the rhythm of life that beats within the heart of East Texas. It has brought much joy to guests of the Pearl this fall, as visitors connect with the artwork and reminisce about memories made in this region.
The Cole Gallery features José Cisneros: A Colorful World in Black and White, on loan from the Bryan Museum in Galveston, Texas. Through his intricate artwork focused on the rugged and iconic horsemen of Texas, you can almost hear the thundering hooves, feel the dust of the trail, and sense the untamed spirit of the land.
Both exhibitions continue through January 6, 2024. Museum hours are Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and admission is free. Please note that the museum will be closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. For more information visit pearlmfa.org.
