The store features an impressive selection of new, used, and retired LEGO® sets, ensuring there's something for every type of LEGO® enthusiast. In addition to selling LEGO® items, Bricks & Minifigs also buys and trades all LEGO® products. Whether you have bulk tubs of bricks, individual minifigs, or entire collections, the store welcomes trades and purchases of all LEGO® products. Fans can explore a wide variety of individual minifigs, bulk bricks, and rare LEGO® components to enhance their collections and bring their creative visions to life.
Bricks & Minifigs operates under three core principles: Rebuild, Reuse, and Reimagine. With an abundance of LEGO® pieces available, customers can easily replenish their collections or reconstruct their favorite childhood sets. The store’s Reuse philosophy encourages sustainability by offering a platform where LEGO® products can be bought, sold, and traded, giving older items a second life. The Reimagine aspect inspires customers to create new builds, turning their imagination into reality with the endless possibilities LEGO® bricks provide.

The concept for Bricks & Minifigs began in 2003 when David Ortiz, a stay-at-home father of twin boys, recognized the need for a safe and convenient space for families to buy, sell, and trade LEGO® items. Ortiz’s vision took shape when he partnered with John Masek in 2009, and together they founded Bricks & Minifigs in 2010. The franchise model launched in 2011, and by 2018, the company had expanded to over 41 locations across the United States and Canada.
The LEGO® brand itself has a rich history. Founded in 1932 by Ole Kirk Kristiansen in Denmark, LEGO® started as a small carpenter’s workshop before evolving into one of the world’s largest toy manufacturers. The name LEGO® is derived from the Danish phrase “leg godt”, meaning “play well.” The iconic LEGO® brick, introduced in 1958, remains the company’s most recognized product, offering limitless building possibilities that inspire creativity in both children and adults.
The Bricks & Minifigs Cypress store is open Monday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Whether you're looking to buy, trade, or expand your LEGO® collection, Bricks & Minifigs is the ultimate destination for LEGO® enthusiasts in Cypress.
