Families across Cypress, Cy-Fair and the surrounding Houston area can spend a morning getting to know local first responders at the 2026 Cy-Fair Fire Fest. Hosted by the Cy-Fair Fire Department, this community event combines family-friendly activities with fire safety education and a closer look at emergency response.
Fire Fest will take place alongside the CFISD Health Expo, bringing fire prevention, emergency preparedness and health and wellness information together at one convenient location.
What to Expect
The event is expected to feature live fire and rescue demonstrations, giving attendees a chance to see emergency personnel in action and learn more about the work behind their response. Open to families and community members of all ages, children and adults can meet local first responders in a relaxed setting, ask questions and explore information that supports safety at home.
Planned highlights include:
- Live fire and rescue demonstrations
- Family-friendly activities
- Opportunities to meet local firefighters and emergency personnel
- Fire prevention and public safety information
- Health and wellness resources through the CFISD Health Expo
For younger attendees, meeting firefighters outside an emergency can help make unfamiliar uniforms and protective equipment feel more approachable. For parents and caregivers, the morning offers a starting point for conversations about smoke alarms, home escape plans, calling 911 and choosing a safe family meeting place.
With both events at the Berry Center, households can explore demonstrations, activities and wellness information during the same visit. This November community event in Cypress offers families a chance to spend time together while learning more about the people and resources that help keep the Cy-Fair area safe.
