Author Fest Returns to LSC-Tomball Community Library June 15
Lone Star College-Tomball Community Library's Author Fest returns for its second year with a slate of over two dozen nationally-known and local authors. The library invites "bookworms, literature lovers, and aspiring authors" to join fellow readers for a day filled with literary delights. Author Fest is a free event, open to the public and is a great opportunity to connect with the local literary scene, get inspired, and stock up on books by local authors. Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet and greet with these authors and get their books signed in person.
Author Fest will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 12:00 to 3:00 PM at the Lone Star College-Tomball Community Library, located at 30555 Tomball Parkway, in the Community Engagement Area. Public parking is available via the Baker Drive entrance in the left and right parking lots.
A portion of all book sales goes to the Tomball Friends of the Library, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Tomball Community Library and its programs. Book sales are facilitated by the authors.

April HenleyTreasures in a BottleApril Henley is a graduate of Baylor University, lives in Texas, and works as a Professional Writer in marketing. Her passion for story writing started in a Creative Writing class in high school. She wrote her first story (that is now "Treasures in a Bottle") and would revisit it again and again through college and her 20s. In 2020, she came back to the story one more time and, in 2023, published it. She writes Fiction/Fantasy stories for younger audiences, inspiring children to use their imaginations and encouraging readers of all ages to get lost between the pages.
