August 2025 Events at Maud Marks Library Offer Crafts, Volunteering, and Family Fun Near Memorial Parkway
Just around the corner from Memorial Parkway, the Maud Marks Branch Library at 1815 Westgreen Blvd., Katy, TX 77450 continues its legacy as a cornerstone of lifelong learning and community connection. With August just days away, the library is rolling out a diverse schedule of free programs designed to inspire residents of all ages.
Opened in 1993 and named for beloved Katy educator Maud Smith Marks, this Harris County Public Library branch has been a gathering place for West Houston families for decades. Its programming, always community-driven, is especially lively this August as it blends seasonal traditions with fresh opportunities to learn, create, and explore.
