Just minutes from Champions Park, the Barbara Bush Branch Library at 6817 Cypresswood Drive, Spring, TX 77379 continues to thrive as a hub of lifelong learning, literacy, and community connection. As August begins, the library is rolling out a diverse calendar of free programs designed to engage residents of all ages.
Opened in 2002 and named in honor of First Lady Barbara Bush, a lifelong advocate for literacy, this Harris County Public Library branch has become a gathering place for families across northwest Houston. Its August programming mixes seasonal favorites with new opportunities to learn, create, and explore.

Labor Day Schedule
The library will close at 5:00 PM on Friday, August 29, and remain closed August 30–September 1 in observance of Labor Day.
